Icom proudly announces the debut of the IC-M90E.

The IC-M90E is a heavy-duty commercial grade waterproof (IPX7) marine land mobile VHF transceiver. The IC-M90E is designed as the successor to the IC-M15 and will top Icom's VHF handheld range.Tough and waterproof for heavy-duty use
The speaker outputs loud and clear audio even after being drenched by water.

Not only marine channels but also VHF land mobile channels (146-174MHz) including CTCSS or DTCS tones are programmable.

Many new features allow you to customize the settings to meet the individual requirements for professional use. When connected to the optional headset, the built-in VOX capability allows you hands-free operation.

FEATURES:

Tough waterproof construction for heavy duty use
The IC-M90E offers highly reliable waterproofing, equivalent to
IPX-7. Simple construction covered with a vertically divided 2-piece polycarbonate casing and insert-type batteries are adopted to prevent water intrusion. A newly developed "speed water removal" system removes water from the speaker grill to prevent deterioration in speaking audio quality.

 





Large well labelled buttons with positive action
Very large keys with clear labelling and positive button action for sure operation even when wearing heavy gloves, allows for optimum operation in all conditions. The transparent buttons are printed from the bottom side, so the operating label on the keypad will never be erased even under hard use over many years

Optional VOX headset
Optional HS-94, HS-95 or HS-97 with OPC-1392 are available for the IC-M90E. The IC-M90E has VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) capability for hands-free operation. Also, the VOX gain and VOX delay time are adjustable. Microphone gain setting allows you to set the appropriate microphone gain each for the VOX headset, speaker-microphone and internal microphone, respectively

Wide viewing angle large LCD
A wide viewing angle, high intensity LCD is adopted for the IC-M90E. The LCD's contrast and backlight are adjustable in 4-steps (backlight includes OFF setting) offering extra clear, easy to read characters. The bright LED indicator on the top of panel shows the operating condition clearly

100 programmable channels
The IC-M90E meets both marine and LMR/PMR applications. A simple push of a button toggles the operating band between marine and land channels. Up to 100 programmable channels are available for land use (146-174MHz). Each channel is programmable with CTCSS and DTCS tone signalling and wide/narrow channel spacing. A 32 code voice scrambler which is compatible with UT-112 is built-in.
Optional cloning software, CS-M90 and cloning cable are required for programming

Trickle charger supplied with the IC-M90E
The trickle type desktop charger, BC-158 will be supplied with the IC-M90E (Depending on version). It charges the BP-225 in 12 to 18 hours. The optional rapid charger BC-119N and multi charger BC-121N are also available to charge the IC-M90E in 2.2-2.8 hours. (AD-109 charger adapter is required)
